Scientist Engineer
Permali Gloucester Limited are currently looking for a Scientist/Engineer to contribute to the group's broad R&D activities. Focusing on protection systems, you will be part of a team developing products for the military market. Specifically, you will be developing materials for protection against KE, mines, EFP and IED threats and, as such, will possess demonstrable experience in these fields. Your duties will include the formulation and testing of protection systems, the definition and execution of evaluation/validation trials from small scale to full vehicle testing. You will be responsible for the analysis and interpretation of the resulting data and the communication of results via reports, papers, presentations etc. Customer liaison is also expected at all stages of development. The successful candidate will be, at a minimum, of graduate calibre in a relevant discipline. Ideally, you will have a good knowledge of materials and their behaviour particularly at high strain rates. Salary - will be commensurate with experience. |
