Our decorative laminate, Permaglass MFM, is used in many trains for interior lining where a high degree of scratch and graffiti resistance is required. Developed to meet the most demanding fire specifications, Permaglass MFM can be seen in use on London Underground Tube Stock, as well as other UK surface stock.

Permaglass MER materials offer halogen-free, fire retardant electrical insulation. This unique material meets the stringent safety regulations specified by London Underground and provides excellent resistance against arcing and exceptional anti-tracking properties. Permaglass MER components include shoebeams and arc boxes/barriers for a range of electrically powered units, and provide an excellent alternative to asbestos based materials.

Permaglass COMP E2 is another unique material developed for use as an insulating rail joint. Designed to combine high strength with electrical performance, the Permaglass COMP E2 fishplate withstands the track forces induced in modern rail whilst offering the user a practical, reliable insulation with an impressive life time.
